A new Tumblr blog called, "What if Adele was Mrs. Doubtfire"
is creating all sorts of excitement on the Web. It combines
Grammy-winning songstress Adele with '90s family-movie comedy and fun.
The creator's idea was simple enough, digitally place Adele's face onto
the body of the character Mrs. Doubtfire from the 1993 movie starring
Robin Williams. Some of the images on the blog are flip-flopped, with
Mrs. Doubtfire's face placed on Adele's body.
It may be a silly premise, but
the blog, which was created only Thursday, is already a huge hit. People
on Twitter are calling it hilarious. One person tweeted, "whenever I lose faith in humanity, I remind myself that someone made a Tumblr asking what if Adele was Mrs. Doubtfire?"
By the way, there's good news,
because you can take part in the fun. If you have a great "What if Adele
was Mrs. Doubtfire" idea, you can submit it to the blog, and it could
wind up making an appearance.
