Following up on popular filmi titles, Shahid Kapoor and Prabhu Deva go for a name change for their upcoming film
Bollywood is known to suffer from a very strong herd mentality, where
if one film becomes a hit, 10 others follow suit with a similar
storyline, music, title etc. And it seems that Shahid Kapoor and Prabhu Deva are following one such trend.
Since Prabhu Deva’s Rowdy Rathore became a runaway hit, the
director has gone ahead and changed the name of his upcoming film with
Shahid Kapoor to a similar sounding title. The action film that was
earlier being made under the working title Namak is now called Rambo Rajkumar. For the Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer
which will be an out and out masala entertainer, the makers apparently
wanted a flashy title, and Namak they felt wasn’t spicy enough!
Well, we hope for Shahid’s sake that Rowdy Rathore’s luck could rub off on Rambo Rajkumar as well, since the Kaminey star badly needs some luck his way! And as for Prabhu Deva, wethinks he will do alright considering his last two outings Wanted and Rowdy Rathore were smash hits, and he has his lucky mascot Sonakshi on board.
