Alia Bhatt, who made an impressive entry into Bollywood with filmmaker Karan Johar's teenage rom-com STUDENT OF THE YEAR in 2012 followed by Imtiaz Ali's critically acclaimed HIGHWAY, is gearing up for her next flick, 2 STATES.
Though Alia has worked with some of the ace directors from the industry already, one wonders when the Bhatt girl plans to work with her father-filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. "Nothing has come my way yet. When has to happen it will. We will come together only when it's like worth it. Don't want to do a film in a hurry," confesses Alia.
Interestingly, Mahesh Bhatt films are known for its bold content. Ask Alia whether she is comfortable doing them, and she retorts "Describe bold for me... He only shows kissing and that I have done in my first film," adding further, "If wearing a bikini is bold, I have done that too. And all these things are done very tastefully and aesthetically. So I am fine. But obviously, I can't be like Sunny Leone. I am very young and that image does not come yet."
Meanwhile, 2 STATES starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, is all set to release on April 18, 2014. The film is directed by Abhishek Varman and is jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
