The story of the film spans across two generations, where Sonakshi will a play girl from the modern era.
"It would be too early for me to detail that out. However, I am glad that it is a very worthwhile role," Sonakshi said.
This will be Sonakshi's first Tamil film in her four-year-old career.
"It is a new language, new people and new industry. Yes, the film is basically in Tamil and it is going to be a new experience. I believe they would be releasing the film in Hindi as well," she said.
