Ludhiana police initiate probe against actress Sunny Leone on obscenity charges

Speaking to The Indian Express, the ACP said that they have been asked to be present in the police station on September 21.

The Ludhiana police on Saturday called upon actress Sunny Leone and a condom manufacturing company over an advertisement on the complaint of NGO Raksha Jyoti Foundation. The NGO alleged that the TV commercial starring Leone is “spreading vulgarity”.

The NGO filed a criminal complaint with Police Commissioner Paramraj Singh Umranangal on Wednesday following which an inquiry was marked to Assistant Commissioner of Police (traffic) Richa Agnihotri.
